Role: Design Committee Co-Head & Graphic Designer Oversee media, publicity, and decoration tasks; main task is to design a shirt for YPR. Design Committee is in charge of creating power-point slides and photo-booth station for the event. Must create a flyer(s) and ensure weekly announcements are posted in the bulletin while continually publicizing the event using social networks; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Must coordinate sub committee for photo & video assistance during event.

“ROOTED”

RETREAT APPAREL

Retreat Apparel was created for the youth of Unity Through Christ starting in 2015. Since then, the ministry has had successful merch drops twice a year, while providing memorable one of kind designs for their members. Most of the designs would be designated for a unified design in a front and back sweater or t-shirt. These design elements would be reflected in power-point presentations and would reiterate the theme of the retreat.

World Youth Day is worldwide Catholic Event held every three years in a different country. These shirts were created for the event, so that all of the pilgrims associated with St. Martin De Porres could match. Groups are easier to spot when dressed in unison especially when in a crowd of millions. The colors emulate the colors of world youth day (Red, Yellow, and Blue).
